The Art Store's First Contest, A Banner!
This will be run by [Lady of Lore].

Voting at the bottom of the page. Voting Ends on the Last day of November

Voting Ended!!!! We have our winners! The banners will be set up around the Art Store and the winners will get a special tag next to thier name on the members list

It has been decided that this wiki is in dire need of banners. We, the members will choose the winners out of the entries. Keep in mind that these are banners to go up in the wiki, they can be for the wiki in general or for specific areas in the wiki, ex-the art gallery section, the front desk, etc.

The Rules
I hope that all of you will honor the rules of Elftown for art, it'd make me very sad to have to kick someone out for plagerising.

1. No stealing art, no plagerism, please use as much original work. Fan art is allowed as long as it is your own work.

2. This contest if for designing the banner for The Art Store wiki so please include something about it in the piece.

3. Please use lots of color or soemthing that will really make a statement. I will have a list of ideas if you can't think of any.

4. Please thumbnail your art that way there's more room!

5. Have fun! This contest is to help us become better artists so try something new and innovative!

2006-05-30 [Cia_mar]: hee hee now how did you know i could do that...lol.... all you do is copy/save one of the images from the pages like a "go" button or the leaf design on the side and then once it is saved you copy/paste it to a corner of your pic's border and just use the eyedropper to use that color!

2006-05-30 [Charybdis]: You could always use PrtSc to take a screenshot, then use the eyedropper tool, which is even faster :)

2006-06-09 [Charybdis]: No, it does do something, it just doesn't show. What it does is take a screenshot - basically use the Copy tool on your current screen. It's up to you to paste it into a graphics program like Paint or Photoshop. :)
